Metroid 4
The last Metroid is in captivity… The Galaxy is at peace…
This game does not have that creepy pervert voice in the intro. [A shame really].
Oh man, what a solid game. After having played Super Metroid [which was the first Metroid I really played] [I know], I was a bit reluctant to play a Mobile Metroid. Having beat Metroid Zero Mission definitely won me over.
Although ‘Fusion felt a little lighter compared to ‘Zero. The controls were looser, making ‘Zero feel like a chess game. Where each move you executed made you feel like a bad-ass.
This one felt a little bit like Metroid for Dummies. Still a great game though, just with friendlier controls.
The best part was being stalked by the SA-X [above] [this isn’t really a spoiler, especially since the game is just about to have its quinceañera]. I really liked the claustrophobic feel of the space station. They implemented some awesome level design, giving each area a unique feel.
Exploring starts out smooth, until you meet this guy
The Metroid Twist [towards the end] adds even greater depth to the game play.
Plus, each Metroid game has a killer soundtrack.
The Theme for Kraid’s Lair still rules!
